Duolingo is changing the way people learn languages. You learn a language at no cost, without advertising or hidden expenses.
Even for those not interested in languages, we recommend you check it out. Duolingo is a classic example of gamification – that is, learning through the application of game design principles.
You have fun while you learn, levelling up and competing with friends. You have the opportunity to translate real-world text in the language you’re learning, and in doing so, help translate the Web into other languages.
Languages include Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian and English. The app can be downloaded for mobile and tablet from the iTunes Store and Google Play. There is also a browser version which can be accessed via the Duolingo website.
