mylearningspace wins Moodle Partner Community Contributor of the Year Award 2022

Moodle Partner Awards have been announced for 2022. Big news. mylearningspace received the Moodle Partner Community Contributor of the Year Award!

This is awarded to the Moodle Partner that has best demonstrated a combination of initiatives, commitment and a positive contribution to the Moodle open-source project.

To put the Award in perspective, mylearningspace were selected from a global partner network of around 100 partners from 50 countries.

In announcing the award, Partner Manager at Moodle, Michael Blake said:

Congratulations to mylearningspace! They are a long-time Moodle Partner in Australia. mylearningspace has consistently been an active contributor to the Moodle project for more than 7 years. They have been active participants in Moodle core development and are evangelical in their support of the project. You won’t find a more enthusiastic advocate for Moodle than the team at mylearningspace.

On receiving the award, CEO at mylearningspace, Chad Outten said:

We are really honoured and privileged to be awarded the accolade. Thank you. We are proud to be part of the Moodle project. Well done to everybody.

While it highlights our contributions during the past year, it’s no secret mylearningspace have been committed to the Moodle project – for many years. On the same token, everything we’ve contributed along the way, has culminated in us receiving this accolade. 

All our ‘one percenters’ are collectively making a big difference to our contributions to the Moodle project. For example, reporting bugs and feature improvements on tracker, participating in product advisory groups, posting to forum, quality assurance testing, presenting at conferences, facilitating workshops, attending partner meetings, publishing articles and so forth. All these little things add up to a big sum total.

At the 2022 Moodle Certified Partner Awards ceremony, Moodle Founder and CEO Martin Dougiamas said:

The way we collaborate sets an amazing example for the rest of the world of open-source projects.
