Learn Moodle Basics is a free 4-week online facilitated course for anybody who wants to use the Moodle learning platform for teaching, whether it be in a school, a university, a company or just personal interest! It is run twice per year.
Moodle Teaching Basics is a free self-paced online course designed to help you understand the basics of teaching with Moodle. It includes H5P content and quizzes to check your understanding, and a badge for completing the course, together with the chance to purchase a certificate.
Moodle Admin Basics is a free self-paced online course which covers how to manage a Moodle site from the Administration interface within Moodle. It contains quizzes to check your understanding, and a badge and certificate for completing the course.
Moodle Plugin Development Basics is a free self-paced online course. In this course you will learn essential concepts related to Moodle’s modular architecture. The tutorial includes practical tasks that take you through setting up a Moodle development environment to actually implementing a simple demo plugin.
If you are an experienced Moodler and have substantial teaching or training experience with Moodle, you may wish to consider doing the Moodle Educator Certification (MEC) program. This is the official Moodle certification curriculum offered by Moodle Partners, such as My Learning Space.
